Bharti Airtel, along with two state telcos- BSNL and MTNL have decided to extend the validity of their prepaid packs amid 21-day lockdown. An additional talk time of Rs 10 will also be added to users’ accounts.
While MTNL and BSNL have extended the validity till April 20, Airtel has extended till April 17. This move has been taken to ensure that incoming call facilities do not stop on the number even if the validity pack gets expired.
It is expected that around 20 crore mobile users in the country will be benefited from this move. The special measure will particularly help migrant workers and daily wagers who may have been impacted due to COVID-19 lockdown.
